Just like humans, animals also have chakras, these seven major energy centres play a crucial role in their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “Wheel” or “disc” and relates to the energy centres that run down the midline of the body. There are seven major chakras, and each one is associated with different functions, emotions and a colour. Chakras are thought to be spinning wheels of energy, regulating the flow of energy throughout the body. When each of the chakras are open, clear and operating as they should be then the body will function at its best. But these energy centres can become blocked, weak or lacking for many reasons, often related to illness, emotional or spiritual issues that can affect us all from time to time. To help rebalance, charge or clear any weakened or blocked chakras within your animal there are many different healing techniques which can help, such as Reiki healing, Crystal & colour therapy, meditations and flower & crystal essences.

These are the seven major animal chakras and some of their functions:

  • linked to spiritual connection and higher consciousness.
  • Imbalances may manifest as a sense of disconnection, lack of purpose or lethargy.

  • Governs intuition, perception and awareness.
